  • Independence Square also known as the Maidan which is the central square where parades and festivals are held
  • Vladimir's Cathedral - is a church built in the late 19th century. The interior walls of the sanctuary were painted by such famous artists of the world as Vasnetsov, Nesterov, Kotarbinsky, Svedomsky and Vrubel.
  • St. Sophia Cathedral - probably the most valuable architectural and historical monument of Ukraine. Tourists from all over the world like to visit this unusual place.
  • The Golden Gate - a monument of ancient Kiev and the main entrance to the Kiev historical center - "the city of Yaroslav". The monument is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
  • St. Andrew's Church - The church has a title of the best cultural attraction of Ukrainian capital, built by the famous Empress Catherine II in baroque style by architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli.
  • Andriivsky descent - street of the historical center of Kiev, the road which connect Podol (Lower city) with Old Kiev (the Upper city).
  • Kyiv-Mohylyanska Academy - the oldest university in Eastern Europe.
  • Chimeras House - a unique mansion in the style of modernism, decorated with fantastic sculptures (chimeras) of fabulous animals, inhabitants of the underwater world, trophies of hunters. The house with chimeras is one of the most important sights of Kiev.

(10.00 – 14.00) Tour to Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (UNESCO Heritage site), World War II Museum & Statue of Motherland Duration 4 hours Description: Visit the military World War II museum Complex built in 1981 on the Pechersk hills above the Dnipro river. The Ukrainian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941 – 1945» was inaugurated on Pechersk in the former Klovskyi Palace on 17th October 1974. It immediately drew attention of the public and numerous visitors. It became obvious that the various thematic and rich museum collections demanded other scientific concept and the special building. All activities of the Memorial are aimed at helping people to understand origins of tragedies of wars, showing ways to prevent them and uncover the historical truth about the sacrifice and heroism of the Ukrainian people in the struggle against Nazism and promote patriotic upbringing of citizens, particularly young people. Statue of Motherland is a monumental statue in Kiev. The stainless-steel statue stands 62 m (203 ft) tall upon the museum main building with the overall structure measuring 102 m (335 ft) including its base and weighing 560 tons. The sword in the statue's right hand is 16 m (52 ft) long weighing 9 tons, with the left hand holding up a 13 by 8 m (43 by 26 ft) shield with the State Emblem of the Soviet Union. Visit the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Monastery, a complex of monasteries established in 11th century and now on the UNESCO world heritage list. This incredible site is famed for the golden domes of the main church and its fascinating network of caves. The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Monastery is the center of Christianity in the Ukraine and home to one of the biggest and most incredible cathedrals in Kiev. It is also home to a network of mystic underground caves that hide mummies of monks and saints. This fascinating site was voted one of the 7 wonders of Kiev and is absolutely a must-see for any visitor of Kiev. Founded by monks in the 11th century and laying on the picturesque Dnipro hills, the Monastery complex is a truly holy place for all Orthodox Christians in the Ukraine. It is home to many majestic churches built in the Byzantine and Baroque style. Within the monastery complex you will also discover many museums, including the museum of Historical Treasures and Jewellery, the Museum of Ukrainian Decorative and Applied Art and famous Museum of Miniatures (art works as small, so you should look at them at microscope, like engraving on the pear seed or very famous iron-shod flea). Lavra is also famous for its caves with ancient crypts, which you will explore during your visit.

Excursion to the ethnographic open-air museum Cossacks village «Mamaeva Sloboda»
Description: Cultural-entertainment complex in the Ukrainian style "Mamaeva Sloboda" is a reconstruction of the Cossack village of the XVIII century On an area of 9,2 hectares, there are 98 different objects, the dominant position among them is the wooden Church. There is also kamenica and cossack outpost, manor blacksmith and the potter, the tavern and many other ethnographic objects, recreating the way of life of Cossacks.

(10.00 – 14.00) Tour to Mezhygorie – Mezhyhirya residence
Duration 4 hours
Mezhyhirya was the private residence of former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in the village of Novi Petrivtsi, Vyshhorod Raion The estate is over 140 ha (350 acres) and is situated on the banks of the Dnieper river (Kiev Reservoir) in the village of Novi Petrivtsi, Vyshhorod Raion. There is a yacht pier, an equestrian club, a shooting range, a tennis court and other recreational facilities as well as hunting grounds. The estate also has an automobile museum displaying some of Yanukovich's former exotic cars, a golf course, an ostrich farm, a dog kennel, numerous fountains and man-made lakes, a helicopter pad, and a small church. The entire complex is enclosed by a five-meter tall fence along the perimeter.
